Fever in skin infect: If the boil you saw is a bacterial infection on the skin and that is causing her fever then she should be see right away. When skin infections cause fevers it can be a sign of spreading . I wouldn't wait. Maybe the fever is from something else but it would be good to have a physician evaluate her.
