High risk hpv: Your best bet is to get regular Pap smears so that you know if cervical dysplasia is present within the cervix. Best of luck.

You are not alone: Women have been getting pap smears for decades before we knew the link of high risk HPV to cervical cancer. If you follow your docs recommendations for regular pap smears it can be picked up in the pre-cancer stages. If so, treatment can remove affected cells and stop it before it happens. There is no meds or special diets, just a need for you to do your follow ups. It may NEVER happen.
