A member asked:

Gestational sac present yolk sac present embryo absent.. gestational sac size 17mm x 7mmx 13mm is this normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: An anembryonic pregnancy can only be diagnosed if there is no embryo and the gestational sac is greater than 25mm. You will need another ultrasound to confirm in about 10 days. Following the quantitative bHCG can also be helpful.
