Needs Root Canal??: did you have a root canal in that tooth? Perhaps the seal is not proper and the tooth is dying and needs a root canal!

See dentist: See the dentist about this and have the tooth checked. It could be a bite problem, gum infection , abcess, or problem with the crown fit, cement or an adjacent tooth. The dark line may be the metal margin of the crown. Get this checked then you will know what needs to be done to treat the problem.
