Or worse!Talk to Dr!: The withdrawal symptoms from xanax (alprazolam) can be life-threatening, so perhaps you are fortunate. It is never a good idea to stop psychotropic meds without mediucal guidance and doctors will almost never stop these drugs abruptly. If things get worse, get to a urgent care or an er quickly. If they don't - make an appointment w/ the prescribing dr to quit carefully. Best wishes.
