Low risk: If there were no open sores or scratches on your skin that contacted the pus, the risk of your having caught HIV is near zero. You may wish to retest in about 6 months. I trust that you know that you should follow universal precautions. Consult this site for information on universal precautions. http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/topics/bbp/universal.html
