What test?: What kind of HIV test? Any test result on its own is not helpful. A test result has to be considered in relation to the health and symptoms (or like of them) of the person being tested. So ask the person who ordered the test your questions, (who knows your health status) to get the best answer.

ELISA/VIRAL LOAD: You should meet with your doctor to discuss concerns and be examined. Given the duration since exposure is 14yrs, the odds are less. But for peace of mind get a full blood work up/STD screen. HIV ELISA and HIV RNA viral load to be through.
