Normal: As long as you're having no other symptoms, such as bleeding, weight loss, or pain, having a bowel movement 2 to 3 times a week is normal. If you would like to have them more frequently, the best way is to increase the amount of fiber in your diet and perhaps take a fiber supplement. If you do, however, you should increase your fluid intake in addition. Good luck.
