How long after i've taken prednisone (for 2 nights) should i wait before i get food allergy testing? don't want results to be affected. thanks!

Should be Fine: 2 dose of oral prednisone shouldn't affect skin testing results. Prior to your appointment make sure you are not on any antihistamine medications as these can interfere with the histamine response required for skin testing. Get off non-sedating antihistamines for around 3-5 days prior, sedating antihistamines 1-2 days prior.
