A member asked:

I was wondering if getting the tube in my eardrum will hurt. ?

Variable: The amount of pain described by adult patients with this procedure is quite variable. Pain tolerance is not the same for everyone. In addition, anticipation that the procedure will be very painful often contributes to the problem. You will be fine, prob will have some discomfort, but the result will greatly outweigh the discomfort.
