Every once in a while i will have slight pain in my lymph nodes under my chin but no swelling no fever no chills no other symptoms what could be wrong?

Possibly...: This could still represent slightly swollen but small lymph nodes (shotty lymph nodes) due to localized or systemic inflammatory conditions such as infections. It may be difficult for you to actually isolate and feel lymph nodes under the skin, but your doctor should be able to. Generally, shotty lymph nodes are not of concern, but do see your doctor if you have unexpected weight loss or fever.
