Check with dr: Some people have diarrhea after cholecystectomy that can be treated with specific medications. You can check with either your local gastroenterologist or a surgeon. I would also ask them to check on the pain since it can be few different things but it doesn't sound like a liver problem. Liver issues rarely cause pain.
