Prozac (fluoxetine) : I think the question is all things considered are these medications helping you feel more productive and better than if you were not taking them if no u might disscuss with your doctor about going off them. That said you went on them for a reason, what were those reasons? You have to weigh the positive and negative. People have a tendency to want a yes or no answer and that is not possible.

Brain changes: You would not lose intelligence from being on these medications. However, untreated depression and adhd would make it harder to perform well in school or in work. Ssri's may even evoke some positive brain changes -- such as increased neurogenesis in the hippocampus and overall neuron repair. http://tinyurl.com/d6b5s8c.
