Stop shaving: Like many young people today, I'm guessing you shave your pubic area. This sounds like typical folliculitis due to shaving. It can be a particular problem in the pubic area (more than the face) because of greater bacterial colonization in that part of the body, and because curly hair is more likely to ingrow after shaving. If hair removal is important to you, consider a non-shaving method.
