I think i have an ingrown hair on my pubic area that turned into a cyst. should i see a doctor in person or is there something at home i can do to help it go away?

You should be seen in person if is growing rapidly, producing severe pain, or you develop fever/chills. Otherwise, apply warm compresses three times per day at home. Get seen if no improvement with a warm compress in 2-3 days.

If it's a pustule there would be redness & tenderness. In this case, hot( not too hot) moist compresses are recommended to bring it to a head. See an MD as needed. If it's an inclusion cyst it won't go away and if you want it removed, you'll have to consult a general surgeon.
