Lots: A lap band is a band that is placed around your stomach to limit the size of your stomach, making you feel full sooner. You eat less and thus lose weight. Liposuction is a procedure that removes fat from focal spots (most commonly the abdomen and love handles), but doesn't generally cause much weight loss, just shaping.
