Histamine Release: Many foods that contain histamine or cause the body to release histamine when ingested. This reaction is a food intolerance, and are different from food allergy in that the immune system is not involved in the reaction. Strawberry is a common histamine releasing food. You could also be suffering from Oral Allergy Syndrome which is common in people with seasonal allergies. Talk to Allergist.
