Uvula: That is an unusual place for bleeding to occur. If it is not stopping then you should go to the ER right away.

Could be urgent: In the absence of trauma or infection, I have never encountered a bleeding uvula. However, it is conceivable that it appears to be bleeding, but has adherent blood that came from somewhere else. Is he having nose bleeds? The concern is if he is coughing up blood or vomiting blood, then he should be seen urgently. Spitting up blood from the stomach means more blood loss in the other direction.
