Is it safe for my 8mo to go to daycare with an ear infection, taking cefdinir for 3d now, and a fever that comes & goes, around 100.6 - 101 degrees?

Ear infections: Safe. Yes. If your baby has completed 3 days of antibiotics and is still having fevers reaching 101, I suggest reaching out to your pediatrician and letting them know. Usually we expect the fever to resolve (in a simple ear infection) by the end of the third day of antibiotics. If the fever is trending down (not getting as high each day) then that is reassuring.
