See below.: My general rule of thumb is this: any medication that's safe for a baby given his age, is also safe for the breastfeeding mom. So Motrin (ibuprofen) and tylenol (acetaminophen) are safe. Consider non-medication relief like heat and gentle stretching. If these measures don't work, please contact your physician.
