It can...: But usually it causes pain and pressure. I have had patients describe a numbness in the affected side, so that is similar to a tingling sensation. My out may have an infection in both sinuses, but the left is more swelled than the rt. only an exam can help determine that.

SINUSITIS/YES: Sinusitis with inflammation infection and swelling of the sinuses can irritate the surrounding nerves And give the tingling sensation. You need to be examined and if infection is suspected treated with antibiotics . If symptoms persist or you have a component of TMJ involved it could be Trigeminal Neuritis and may need an ENT evaluation.
