Not unusual: The pain should begin to recede in the next day or so. If it becomes worse get back to the doctor ASAP. Good luck and best wishes.

Go to be checked: There are some instances in which a spinal tap can become complicated. There is more than a few reasons why this is happening. I would suggest that you call or go to the place where you had it done to be evaluated.
