I have fibromyalgia, my pain has really increased. my gp will not prescribe narcotics so he upped my gabapentin to 600mg x 4. is this safe ? thx

Yes: That dose is reasonable. Avoid narcotics. Have you tried Cymbalta or Savella (milnacipran)? Consider seeing a rheumatologist and disregard doctors who try to explain fibromyalgia on loose-jointedness.
