If left untreated : It won't cause major problems . It may cause inflammation, pain and unsightly situation . With pregnancy, they worsen or get bigger. Go see a cardiovascular surgeon or dermatologist for consultation!

Worst case scenario: Developing a venous leg ulcer is considered to be the worst thing that could happen to you with varicose veins. Fortunately, your risk of having that happen is low. Untreated varicose veins generally get worse with time and pregnancy often speeds up the worsening process.
