Varies: If you can bear weight on it, you may have just "sprained" it and should get better quickly. If either it is painful to put weight on it, or if if does not get better I would be seen. Somewhat concerning for sustaining a tear in the posterior horn if the medial meniscus which is fairly common and sometimes requires arthroscopic surgery.
