Probably unrelated: Mirena (levonorgestrel) IUD is not known to cause weight gain, but Beer and Poutine surely can. You could have any number of hormonal or behavioral causes for your symptoms, but it is most likely not related to your contraceptive method. Some forms of contraception are known to increase appetite, but Mirena (levonorgestrel) is not one of them.
