i'm on 5 miligrams of norvasc (amlodipine) for high blood pressure. is it bad if i increase the dose by 5 mgs?

Norvasc (amlodipine): 5mg of Norvasc (amlodipine) is a normal dose, 10mg is also a common dosage used. You should not adjust your medications without involving your doctor in the decision. If the doc advises the 10mg total dose that isn't unusual.
