Incision and drainag: is probably what he meant if it's a stye or chalazion. If you can't decompress it with warm compresses applied 4 times a day for 10-15 minutes, then I'm afraid it's your best option to have it opened drained. It's consider a minor in-office procedure. You should do fine. If it's a cyst, tumor or something else, it needs surgical attention for sure.
