Fixes for heartburn: Short answer: avoid spicy/ greasy foods, tomato-foods, mints, alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, chocolate, late night meals before bed, fizzy drink. Long answer: distinguish acid vs non-acid causes of reflux & rule out motility problems of the esophagus & stomach. What tests have you undergone? What other medications have you tried? Are you sure your "heartburn" is really just reflux of stomach contents
