Fractured my navicular in foot diagnosed 7 wks late. immobilized for 4 weeks but that foot keeps crackling every time i move it. why does it do this?

Close follow-up: It is possible the fracture has not fully healed or simply swelling in area of the fracture. Navicular fractures can be a challenge to diagnose and troublesome requiring prolonged immobilization along with close follow-up in order to heal. It is important to follow-up with your treating physician.
