Lanacane: You could try using a combination of a topical anesthetic + anti inflammatory like those that are used for minor burns or itching caused by poison ivy. Any local pharmacy should carry it ... Ingredients should be: lidocaine and benzocaine and hydrocortisone. Hope that helps!
