Evaluate medication: I assume your husband has diabetes and is on medication for it that can lower his sugar too much (insulin, or sulfonylureas such as glyburide, glipizide, glimeperide). He must monitor his sugar frequently, take his medication correctly and eat correctly to avoid hypoglycemia. He may be on too much medication. This needs to be evaluated by his doctor.
