Yes 12 is: Deficient. Associated with obesity. Chronic pain. Anxiety depression and insomnia. Would have your doc prescribe vit d 50k per week for a few months or simply take VitD3 over the counter 1000-3000 IU daily

Sunlight: sunlight can increase your vitamin D2 level. Vitamin D2 gets converted into the active form D3 in the kidneys. You can also take supplemental vitamin D3- 400 units twice a day
