Neither is good: Neither worrying about or avoiding problems in your life is helpful. Your problem is not having problem solution skills. When you have a problem, write down why it is a problem and then make a list of solutions you can think of. Grade in writing for yourself the real severity of the problem. Pick best realistic solution you can find on your list and use it. Working with a psychologist could help.
