8- month-olds need: 14 hrs. sleep/24 hrs., 8-9 hrs. at night & 2-3 daily naps, which she gets. At a regular bedtime, feed her, then brush her teeth with a small smear of toothpaste. Read, cuddle, then put her to bed in her own room, drowsy but awake, without bottle or pacifier, to self-calm for sleep. Ignore the night-waking. If you talk to her or go into her room, it'll become a habit. See healthychildren.org.
