A member asked:

Is it safe for babies to sleep overnight or nap in baby swings or rock n' plays?

No, it is not safe!: Infants should not sleep in "Baby Swings", or "Rock n' Play" by Fisher Price. The best way to prevent "Sudden Infant Death Syndrome" is to place infants on their back, which also encourages normal physical and motor development. They should sleep on a firm, flat surface.

No: There are recorded instances where babies fell asleep in these devices, pinched their airway from an odd position, and died.Be aware that that is one of many risks you take if you do this. It may not happen to you, but it has to others.
