Fibroids sub mucosal: Not dangerous but can cause a lot of symptoms, heavy bleeding, pain etc & infertility because it may prevent implantation of developing embryo. Surgical removal is appropriate if it posses some problems. Like any other surgery it can be done safely. Complications parallel other surgical procedures involving the abdomen and peritoneal cavity. No worries.

Fibroids are benign.: Fibroids are benign growths within the muscular layer of the uterus. They're not dangerous, although if they get large enough they can sometimes make it difficult to become pregnant. And they can sometimes be a source of bleeding that occurs in between periods and, as such, they may need to be managed or removed. There are non-surgical options for treatment.
