Acid reflux, terrible chest pain that's radiating to my back! pepcid (famotidine) isn't helping and neither are tums. what otc medicine can help with this?

Reflux : you can always double up on Prilosec OTC and take 40mg once a day. However if nothing is helping Id recommend getting evaluated. Could be gallbladder problem or pancreatitis.

Why do none of the heartburn/reflux medications ever work? Ive taken Prilosec, protonix, Prevacid, Pepcid, tums &now Im on nexium. I took 40mg before I ate breakfast & 20mg Pepcid before I ate dinner. Im still constantly getting heartburn & reflux?
