Too young: A 4 month old baby is too young for any kind of milk that is not breast milk or a baby formula created for babies. The combination of nutrients in cow milk or other kinds of milk is not balanced correctly for young babies. In the U.S., babies don't start drinking cow milk until reaching age 1 year.
