Possibly...: it will depend on how much was extruded into the tissue, what tooth was being treated, when was it first know that it happened, what therapy was initiated to mitigate the effect. It will take some time for the damaged tissues to recover.

Usually, Yes: This is a tough question...lots of variables. However, if the amount of sod hypo was small, and it was contained within the bone right by the tooth being treated, then you can expect complete healing within several weeks. On the other hand, if it reached a main nerve, or went into the sinus, or penetrated deeper, then healing will be more complicated and slow. You'll have to wait and see. Sorry.
