Likely muscular: It sounds like you have a muscle spasm causing tension headaches. You can try ice or heat for 15 minutes. If you can tolerate anti- inflammatories, those can be helpful. This usually gets better with physical therapy (massage to decrease spasm) neck/posture work to prevent recurrence and eval of your workplace ergonomics. A physiatrist can eval to find specific underlying cause / other treatments.

See doctor: It is a good idea to see a doctor for progressing neck pain if your symptoms are not improving. Neck arthritis can cause these symptoms as well as nerve impingement. Treatment for this is usually nonoperative....But you should see your primary doctor or even a spine physician if not improving.
