Tinnitus : Need more info. Tinnitus means ringing in the ears and you say pounding. Please explain symptoms, intensity, frequency, duration, sudden or chronic, past history, medications, and your major concern. Otherwise see your doctor for chief complaint work up asap as best option. Good luck
