Unsure: Unfortunately at 9 weeks there would be little or no outward indication of a problem with your pregnancy, until or unless your body began the process of miscarrying, or until or unless you began to have signs or symptoms of an infection in the uterus. The best reassurance is the detection of the fetal heart beat. Your doctor likely would be happy to check the heart rate when you are concerned.

Keep appointments: Your miscarriage was indeed a tragic experience, and your concerns are well founded. Keep your appointments for fetal heart sounds and fetal ultrasound. Regularly discuss your specific concerns and fears with your obstetrician and birthing team. Hope that helps.
