Confirming results : The presence of large leukocytes esterace levels in the urine indicates the presence of white blood cells in the urine. However it is possible that the urine sample was contaminated with skin cells or that the results were by dipstick only. Oftentimes it is helpful to get a repeat urinalysis with a microscopic exam to prove that blood and white cells are present and then other tests if needed
