Follow up: Over the counter medications are not very effective. I would recommend relieving congestion with nasal saline, keeping well hydrated and taking a tsp of honey. If your cough is severe, a follow up is recommended. If there is difficulty breathing /high fever, please see your physician. Most uncomplicated viral illnesses clear up in two weeks. Virtual appt can be made.
