No: Having the APOE 4/4 places you at greater risk for late onset Alzheimer's. Just because you have this risk factor does not mean you will develop the disease. There is a good article on Medscape about AD and APOE-4 written by Garg and others. Additionally, I would consider a Vegan diet. See the book "The China Study". Protect your brain! Avoid head trauma, lower BP and cholesterol. Best wishes!
