Those who develop Alzheimer's at a younger age typically have genetic proclivities, with most frequent alleles involving Presenilin I and II, or Amyloid precursor protein. Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy often appears to have similar symptoms to Alzheimer's. There are also influences of diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.
