I have a daughter who is 5y old ,she always get sick all the time! flue or any thing else! every 2 weeks she get something ! do we need to do tests?

Maybe: Studies show the average 5 yo will get 5-7 respiratory and 1-2 diarrheal illnesses per year until school age with a small drop in numbers afterward.Kids with significant immune defects are usually hospitalized for a significant bacterial disease by age 6 months, and end up being evaluated at that time. There can be some lesser issues involved which could be verified by testing.

VERY VERY: normal ....IF she has started SCHOOL! Kids that age are faced with viral infections they have protection from until they join other KIDS in the SCHOOL situation! Check this with your Pediatrician! Hope this helps Dr Z
