A member asked:

I havent ever been diagnosed, although it has always been very clear to see, that i'm severe adhd. so how should i go about getting diagnosed?

Hard to say: Such diagnoses require a significant review of history, level of function, exam and a variety of tests. Alternative medical, emotional and behavioral conditions can mimic these conditions. Consult your pcp to start the process.

Start with your Dr.: Start with a discussion with your doctor. they can refer you to a neuropsychologist for testing and a neurologist for treatment if called for.
