Does adhd get less severe as you age?

Generally: Something less than 50% of people with childhood ADHD will outgrow their symptoms as they get to the end of high school age. In most others, the restlessness will subside or be significantly reduced. Many individuals will learn strategies for dealing with the inattentiveness and executive function problems that remain. You should address this with your doctor and an educational specialist.

Not necessarily : Impulsive behavior and hyperactivity usually get better when you get older but inattention does not always get better, however, many patients, especially those with mild adhd and those who take care of themselves see an improvement with adhd symptoms overall.
